What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 359 in Benavides, TX on July 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 4:25 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Explorer headed southbound on TX 359 reportedly veered from the road into grass. It then overcorrected and overturned multiple times. The driver, a 35-year-old Hebronville man, suffered serious injuries. Police allege suspicion that alcohol played a factor in the crash.
