What Happened

Area authorities arrested a driver in connection with a pedestrian collision at Airport Fwy in Hurst, TX on August 26th, 2022. Police say it happened shortly before 2:30 a.m. Investigators believe a man was involved in a crash with a vehicle that resulted in the man exiting his vehicle. He was standing near the vehicle when he was struck by a different vehicle, operated by 47-year-old Bamwesige Kisuuli, and taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. Kisuuli was arrested and reports indicate faces an intoxication assault charge.
