Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a pedestrian at Roosevelt Ave and Loop 410 in San Antonio, TX on January 1st, 2024. Police believe the incident happened around 8 p.m. According to investigators, a Lexus IS 250 headed southbound on Roosevelt is said to have failed to yield while turning left onto Loop 410 access road. Police say the Lexus struck a Chevrolet Equinox in the process, the impact pushing the Lexus into an adult male pedestrian walking on the nearby sidewalk. The man, age 67 and not publicly identified, was hospitalized with serious injuries, reports say. Reports further indicate the Lexus operator, also not publicly identified, was allegedly charged with Intoxication Assault. Additional information was not available.
