What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at State Hwy 35 in Point Comfort, TX on April 9th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 3:05 a.m. Authorities say a Mack truck headed southwest is said to have slowed to make a turn as a northeast bound vehicle approached. Authorities say the approaching vehicle, a Toyota Tundra, collided with the Mack truck. The collision left the 43-year-old Palacios driver of the Toyota fatally injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
