What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at I-610 in Houston, TX on April 29th, 2024.  Police say the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. According to investigators, a Harley Davidson Electra Glide motorcycle was northbound on US 59 prior to taking an I-610 connector ramp. Authorities claim that while on the ramp, the vehicle veered from the its lane for unclear reasons before colliding with a barricade. The driver, a 51-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was ejected from the vehicle and over the ramp onto US 59. Authorities say the man was fatally injured in the incident. Additional information was not available.
