What Happened

Police have identified the person killed in a crash at Burleson Blvd in Burleson, TX on May 4th, 2023. Police believe the crash happened around 4:17 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Odyssey operated by a 27-year-old woman who was not identified was headed northbound at the time. The vehicle is alleged to have veered from the road into a median before traveling into a ditch. From there, they believe the vehicle hit a concrete culvert, causing it to overturn onto its roof. 27-year-old passenger, Mia Bills, was killed in the crash. The woman driving was taken to an area hospital with injuries believed to be serious in nature. Authorities have recommended and/or issued a charge of Intoxication Manslaughter with Vehicle.
