What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Business 35 in Brazoria County, TX on January 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:56 p.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord operated by 62-year-old Gwen Fuchs was headed southwest before allegedly crossing a center line and entering onto the northeast side of the road. The vehicle came into contact with and collided with a Ford F-350 operated by a 68-year-old Houston man. The impact pushed the vehicles into a nearby Infiniti QX50 operated by 57-year-old Michael Vern Brooks. Brooks and Fuchs suffered serious injuries, according to police. Authorities did not release additional information.
