What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person involved at I-35 in Round Rock, TX on March 31st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:15 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Rogue is alleged to have struck a northbound Nissan Versa before drifting into a median and spinning before it was struck by a Jeep Wrangler. The impact caused the Jeep to overturn, leaving 27-year-old Jeep operator, Cheyenne Ramos, seriously injured. The driver of the Nissan Versa, identified as 59-year-old Milton Smith, was fatally injured. The driver of the Nissan Rogue was not publicly identified and was allegedly uninjured.
