What Happened

Authorities are investigating a collision that killed one person involved at I-10 and Wirt Rd in Houston, TX on April 4th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 9:18 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer headed westbound is said to have disregarded a stop and go signal before colliding with an approaching motorcycle at an intersection.. The impact is said to have caused the motorcyclist, identified as 21-year-old Natalio Alana-Garcia, to be ejected from the vehicle and pushed into a Lexus in a nearby lane. Alana-Garcia was fatally injured in the crash. Additional information was not available.
