What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 439 in Bell County, TX on August 1st, 2019. Officials say the incident involved a vehicle driven by 52-year-old Jimmy Lee Patterson colliding with a vehicle at a high rate of speed. Patterson's vehicle continued into a n intersection and collided with another vehicle before going into a ditch and going airborne and landing, t-boning a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Noah Alexander Salinas. Both drivers were treated for serious injuries. Patterson was also arrested and charged with intoxication assault, failure to stop and render aid and possession of marijuana.
