Authorities have information on a crash that killed a driver at County Rd 370 in Liberty County, TX on March 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:23 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Grand Cherokee was eastbound on County Rd 370 before traveling over a bump in the roadway. Due to the alleged speed of the vehicle, reports say the vehicle went airborne upon striking the bump. Once landed, officials say the vehicle lost control and hit a mailbox before overturning several times. The alleged driver, a 37-year-old man who was not publicly identified, was ejected from the vehicle and suffered fatal injuries. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
