What Happened

Harris County Sheriff's Office authorities are investigating a crash that killed a man at Almeda Genoa Rd in Houston, TX on June 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a westbound Yamaha motorcycle was struck by a Mercury Marquis at the intersection with Monroe Rd. Investigators say the Mercury left a a gas station and ran a red light after attempting to turn before the collision before it fled the scene. The motorcyclist, an unidentified 39-year-old male, was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Additional details was not available.
