What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-610 in Houston, TX on February 24th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 1:40 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Camaro was northbound before colliding with a Jeep Wrangler. Reports indicate the Jeep pulled to the side to assist another motorist and say the vehicle was still in a moving lane of travel when it was struck by the Chevrolet. Reports say the Jeep operator, identified as 42-year-old Quinlane Butler, had possible injuries. The other driver, identified as 33-year-old Marqueese Felix, was seriously injured, reports say. Sources indicate a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued against the operator of the Jeep. Additional information was not available.
