Northbound Toyota Camry veered from the road and into a ditch, crossed into southbound lanes and collided with a Lincoln Town car


What Happened

A vehicle traveling in the wrong-direction lead to two-vehicle crash resulting in a fatality at FM 230 in Houston, TX on April 24th, 2021. Police say that around 8:13 p.m. Toyota Camry operated by 55-year-old Ronnie Jupin Jr reportedly veered from its southbound lane into a ditch. The vehicle went into a skid, ending up in northbound lanes where it continued traveling while not passing before eventually colliding with a Lincoln Town Car. In the Lincoln was 44-year-old Rachel Smith, who was seriously injured when the car veered upright into a ditch. Jupin was alleged to be under the influence of alcohol and suffered fatal injuries from the crash.
