What Happened

Authorities are investigating a craft hat injured at least two people at Marcella Ave in Laredo, TX on April 5th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:43 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 was northbound on Marcella Ave before allegedly failing to yield at a stop sign with the Calton Rd intersection. As a result, reports say the vehicle collided with a Chrysler PT Cruiser headed westbound on Calton. The driver of the Chrysler, identified as 62-year-old Raquel Rodriguez Rojas, is alleged to have been seriously injured in the incident. Her 73-year-old passenger, who was not publicly identified, had less serious injuries, reports say, while the Dodge operator, also not publicly identified, was also allegedly uninjured. Sources indicate that driver was cited for Failure to Yield. Additional information was not available.
