What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 84 in Littlefield, TX on April 1st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:54 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Sonata operated by 27-year-old Rebecca Ann Royal was crossing southbound onto Hwy 84 when it was struck by a westbound commercial tractor-trailer. Officers allege one of the vehicles may have missed a posted stop sign prior to the collision. Royal suffered injuries believed to be serious in nature. The other driver, a 46-year-old Houston man, was not injured. Additional information was not made available.
