What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 3009 in Comal County, TX on April 16th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2 p.m. According to investigators, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van was southeast before hydroplaning in rainy weather conditions. Authorities say the vehicle lost control while attempting to return to the road, going though a shoulder in into an oncoming lane of travel before colliding with an oncoming Toyota Corolla. Authorities indicate the driver of the Toyota, identified as 69-year-old Robbie Brown, was seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
