What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that injured four people at State Hwy 36 in Jones Creek, TX on April 4th, 2024. Police say it happened around 5:30 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra is alleged to have failed to come to a stop at the Peach Point Rd intersection. There, police say the vehicle collided with a northbound GMC C1500, operated by 26-year-old Ross Gay. Authorities say the impact caused the GMC to go airborne before overturning multiple times and ejecting Gay from the vehicle. Reports indicate Gay was hospitalized with serious injuries while two child occupants, ages 7 and 8, had injuries considered to be non-life-threatening. The driver of the Hyundai, who was not publicly identified, also had non-life-threatening injuries, reports say. Additional information was not available.
