What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-37 in San Antonio, TX on February 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:03 a.m. A commercial truck operated by a 32-year-old Pharr man was headed northbound on I-37, when investigators say it failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of a Ford Ranger operated by 45-year-old Ruben Martinez Velasquez. Velasquez suffered minor injuries in the collision while the Pharr man suffered no injuries.
