Officials believe it happened around 6:03 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford Fusion operated by a 46-year-old Austin woman was allegedly witnessed by multiple individuals traveling at a high rate of speed and performing several unsafe driving actions. Reports say the vehicle ended up striking an Acura MDX operated by 50-year-old Ryan Martin, whose vehicle had previously exited a private driveway and was south on Berkman. Reports say Martin had non-life-threatening injuries while the Austin woman was more seriously injured. Both were hospitalized for treatment, reports say.
