What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured multiple people at Cameron Rd in Austin, TX on April 13th, 2024. Police believe the incident happened around 1:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado was allegedly traveling southbound in northbound lanes prior to colliding nearly head-on with an approaching Honda Accord. The crash is said to have seriously injured 26-year-old Honda operator, Sahana Ramesh, as well as two 26-year-old passengers who were not publicly identified. An additional passenger had less serious injuries and another passenger had possible, unconfirmed injuries. The driver of the Silverado, who was not publicly identified, allegedly had non-life-threatening injuries. Reports indicate the driver was charged with Intoxication Assault.
