What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people involved at Lake Shore Dr in Waco, TX on March 21st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 7:46 a.m. According to investigators, a BMW 43oi headed westbound is alleged to have lost control at a curve on the wet roadway before going into a slide while attempting to return to the road. The vehicle is said to have collided with an eastbound Toyota Avalon. Reports say the driver of the Toyota, identified as 26-year-old Savana De Spain Leazar, was seriously injured. Two child passengers had minor injuries, authorities say. The occupants of the BMW, all under the age of 18, had possible, unconfirmed reasons. Additional information was not available.
