What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at Fondren Rd in Houston, TX on May 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:50 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Tucson operated by 57-year-old Robert Walker was headed westbound on Sam Houston when it allegedly ran a red light and collided with a Dodge Challenger operated by 35-year-old Shaterica Shantel Spizer. Spizer suffered serious injuries in the crash. Walker was not injured and officers recommended and/or issued a Ran Red Light citation.
