What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man and woman at 100 Aldine Bender Rd in Houston, TX on November 2nd, 2019. Officials say the man and woman were attempting to cross the road when they were struck by a vehicle driven by Carlos Aguilar. The two were hospitalized with serious injuries and Aguilar was charged with several charges including DWI with a child under 15 and failure to stop and render aid. Police later said one of the victims, Sonia Gonzales, died from her injuries.
