What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at I-10 in Brookshire, TX on April 17th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 5:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Spark headed eastbound is said to have become disabled in an outside lane. Authorities say an eastbound Toyota Tacoma is said to have attempted an evasive action to avoid a collision before colliding with the rear of the Chevrolet, pushing it into a lane where it was sideswiped by a Ford F-150. Reports indicate the driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 45-year-old Sydney Carter Jr, was seriously injured. Additional information was not immediately available.
