What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a teen at County Rd 2340 in Navarro County, TX on November 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 6: 18 p.m. Investigators are saying a dirt bike was traveling on the edge of an uneven portion or road. Somehow, the vehicle ended up spinning back into the roadway, police say, before falling onto its side. There, the bike and its 15-year-old operator, were struck by an approaching Nissan van. The teen was seriously injured, according to police. The van and its occupants, all age 15 and 16, were not injured, reports say. Additional information was not immediately available.
