What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Midway Rd in Farmers Branch, TX on April 7th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:18 p.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Altima headed eastbound on McEwen Dr is alleged to have run a red light at the intersection with Midway Rd. As a result, reports claim the vehicle collided with a southbound Lexus RX before striking a nearby curb and spinning into a median. Officials say the driver of the Lexus, identified as 26-year-old Thang Tuang, was seriously injured. Also seriously injured, was the 25-year-old driver of the Nissan, who was not publicly identified. A 30-year-old passenger in the vehicle, also not publicly identified, allegedly had less serious injuries. Sources indicate a Driving While Intoxicated charge was recommended and/or issued against the operator of the Nissan.
