What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at State Hwy 349 in Midland County, TX on February 13th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Investigators say a Cadillac DTS was headed eastbound on County Rd 130 before allegedly failing to yield from a stop sign. The vehicle is said to have pulled into the intersection with Hwy 349, colliding with a GMC Acadia. Authorities say the 38-year-old Midland driver of the GMC was seriously injured while a 40-year-old passenger in the vehicle suffered less serious injuries. A 22-year-old passenger in the Cadillac suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Sources indicate an Intoxication Assault With Vehicle charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver of the Cadillac. Additional information was not immediately available.
