What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at Towne Centre Dr and Gus Thomasson Rd in Mesquite, TX on April 11th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 6:57 p.m. Authorities say a Pontiac G6  is allegedly to have failed to come to a complete stop before striking the rear of a Kia Optima. Authorities say an 84-year-old passenger in the vehicle was seriously injured. The driver of the Pontiac had less serious injuries, authorities say. Additional information was not immediately available.
