What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at I-40 in Oldham County, TX on December 29th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:23 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 26-year-old Fresno, CA man was headed eastbound on I-40 as a vehicle ahead slowed for debris in the road. Police say the tractr-tailer failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the other vehicle, operated by a 71-year-old Seminole, OK woman. The woman was seriously injured while her 76-year-old passenger had less serious injuries. The Fresno man was not injured. Additional information was not available.
