What Happened

Authorities have information on a crash that killed a pedestrian at Stone Oak Pkwy in San Antonio, TX on April 3rd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:17 p.m. According to investigators, an Audi Q5 was eastbound on Stone Oak Pkwy is said to have veered from the roadway onto a nearby sidewalk, striking a light post. Reports say the vehicle continued traveling until out struck a pair of pedestrians, including 39-year-old Vanesa Ramos and her 5-year-old son. The impact was severe enough both Ramos and her son were fatally injured.
