Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a person at FM 1585 in Lubbock, TX on January 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:56 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-150 operated by 25-year-old Adrian Valdez was headed westbound on 130th St when it lost control during a turn. The vehicle hit a traffic signal pole, leaving a passenger with serious injuries. The passenger was identified as 27-year-old Vicente Valdez. The driver was evaluated for possible injuries and officers recommended and/or issued Intoxication Assault.
