What Happened

Area authorities are ivnesitgaijng a crash that injured a driver at Hillcrest Ave in University Park, TX on January 7th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5:45 p.m. Investigators say a Tesla Model X operated by a 25-year-old Dallas man headed southbound on Hillcrest Ave. At the same time, a Kia Rio operated by 34-year-old Victor Diaz Hurtado was stopping at a red light at the intersection with Binkley Ave. The allege the Tesla failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the Kia, leaving Hurtado with injuries believed to be serious in nature.
