What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 84 in Scurry County, TX on March 21st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8 p.m. According to investigators, a Saturn Outlook was crossing northwest and southeast lanes before allegedly failing to yield from a stop sign. The vehicle is said to have collided with side of an approaching Chevrolet 3500, the collision leaving 22-year-old Saturn passenger, Victoria Salinas, fatally injured. The drivers of both vehicles, who were not publicly identified, allegedly had minor injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
