What Happened

Two vehicles were involved in a collision that left both drivers injured at I-10 in Houston, TX on January 22nd, 2023. Officers say it happened around 3:48 a.m. According to the investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by 41-year-old Andrew Robinson was headed westbound on the interstate before colliding with the rear of a Ford Explorer operated by 52-year-old Wykem Regular. The impact from the collision pushed the Ford into a retaining wall before it was struck by a Ford Fusion attempting to avoid the initial collision. The GMC also hit a wall and traveled up an on-ramp before coming to a stop. Regular is said to have been seriously injured in the collision while Robinson had less serious injuries. The driver of the Fusion was uninjured, according to police. Responding officers allege suspicion of possible alcohol involvement in the crash.
