What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at State Hwy 77 in Robinson, TX on December 3rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 9:35 p.m. According to investigators, an Infiniti G35 operated by 46-year-old Fernando Rodriguez was headed northbound on North Robinson Dr at an alleged high rate of speed before colliding with a Toyota Corolla stopped at a center turn lane. The driver of the Toyota, identified as 36-year-old You Xue and a passenger, 34-year-old Yan Gao, were both injured in the collision. Rodriguez had minor injuries, according to authorities, and was issued charges that include Driving While Intoxicated and Intoxication Assault.
