What Happened

State Police identified the person killed in a crash at I-80 near Arlington, WY on May 17th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around midnight. According to investigators, a semi-truck was headed eastbound, allegedly with active hazard lights. As it traveled, it was rear ended by what authorities say was a commercial-style bus occupied by 75-year-old John Brown. Brown was ejected from the vehicle in collision and suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The occupants of the semi-truck were not injured, according to police.
