Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured five people at Skyland Blvd in Tuscaloosa, AL on July 13th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7:43 a.m. According to investigators, a minivan is said to have collided with flatbed truck. Police say around 7:32 a.m. there was a previous accident involved a box truck that overturned and the second crash caused the flatbed truck to veer across a median and into an ALDOT truck that was at the scene of the earlier crash for assistance. The woman in the van and four children were taken to an area hospital for treatment of various injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
