State Troopers have provided information related to a crash that killed two people at I-65 in Lowndes County, AL on December 26th, 2021. Officials say it happened around 7:30 a.m. A GMC Sierra operated by a 17-year-0ld Waco, TX teen is said to have collided with the rear of a tractor-trailer parked in the shoulder. A 16-year-old passenger and 50-year-old passenger, Jose L Badillo, were reportedly not wearing seatbelts and died in the collision. The 17-year-old was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
