Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a woman at AL 77 in Lincoln, AL on December 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:16 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Civic operated by 43-year-old Lori Laber was rear-ended by a parol unit under unclear circumstances. Following the collision, reports indicate the Honda was next struck by a dump truck operated by 59-year-old Stephen Hopkins. The collision is said to have caused Laber to be ejected from the vehicle, causing fatal injuries at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 43-year-old Jesse Ecker Jr, was also ejected from the vehicle.
