State Police are investigating a crash that injured a woman at I-10 and 91st Ave in Tolleson, AZ on October 10th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when 75-year-old Maria Miramontes and her 2-year-old granddaughter were crossing the road. As they did, around 8:30 a.m., Miramontes was struck by a dump truck that allegedly did not stop at a stop sign. The woman was hospitalized with serious injuries. The child was not hurt as Miramontes was able to push her to safety before the collision. No arrests have currently been made. Additional information was not available.
