Arizona Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 93 near Congress in Yavapai County, AZ on August 18th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep traveling northwest on US 93 is alleged to have crossed a center line before colliding with a southeast bound semi-truck. The impact caused the vehicle overturn, trapping the driver inside. Despite attempts to rescue the driver, the driver suffered fatal injuries from the crash. The truck driver was not injured.
