What Happened

State Police are investigating a two-vehicle collision that killed a driver at Hwy 167 in Calhoun County, AR on December 6th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 6 p.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by 53-year-old Marcus Tankersley was headed northbound while a Honda operated by 41-year-old Charles Sellers was headed southbound. Officers say the Honda attempted to pass the truck in an opposite direction before crossing a center line and crossing into the path of the truck. Both vehicles collided and Sellers suffered fatal injuries. The condition of Tankersley was not known . Additional information was not available.
