What Happened

State Police are investigating a collision that killed a driver at US Hwy 65 in Boone County, AR on December 5th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:27 a.m. A Dodge Ram operated by 68-year-old Dennis Gene Visser reportedly attempted a u-turn while headed southbound in a right travel lane ahead of a tractor-trailer. The tractor-trailer reportedly attempted to avoid the collision by veering into the drivers side of the truck, causing fatal injuries to Visser. Two passenger, 60-year-old Harvey Dean Mulder and 62-year-old Verlyn Jay Mulder were both treated for undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
