What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at State Hwy 5 in Midway, AR on September 18th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:25 a.m. According to investigators, commercial truck operated by 61-year-old Michael Ragland was northbound before allegedly failing to yield right-of-way at an intersection and colliding with a Chrysler Town & Country operated by 39-year-old Jennifer Watlington. Officials say Watlington and 40-year-old passenger, identified as Sunshine Undersell, were killed. Ragland suffered undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not available.
