State Police have information on a crash that killed a driver at I-30 in Hot Spring, AR on February 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:10 p.m. According to investigators, a Kenworth truck operated by 44-year-old Mario Perez-Perez was headed eastbound on I-30. The truck was approaching slowed traffic ahead in a construction zone. The truck is alleged to have failed to slow in time before going to the left and veering from the road. It then crashed in a tree line, leaving Perez-Perez with fatal injuries. Police did not have additional information.
