California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that injured at least one person at Hwy 46 in Templeton, CA on December 1st, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 5 a.m. Investigators allege a Nissan NV2500 operated by 33-year-old George Pitman was eastbound, leaving a traffic light in heavy fog visibility conditions. Officials say a tractor-trailer ahead crossed eastbound lanes into the path of the approaching van, the van striking the left rear of the truck in the process. Police say following the crash, the tractor-trailer continued westbound without stopping to render aid. Reports say Pitman was hospitalized with serious injuries.
