What Happened

California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed four people at Hwy 156 near Fairview Rd near Hollister, CA on August 14th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 8:05 p.m. According to investigators, a Tesla sedan was headed eastbound before it crossed double yellow lines and collided head-on with a westbound tractor-trailer. The driver of the Tesla, identified as 55-year-old Lisa Biakanja and three passengers were all killed in the collision. The driver of the truck was taken to an area hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
