What Happened

California Highway Patrol officials are investigating a pedestrian accident at I-15 in Wildomar, CA on January 3rd, 2022. They say the incident happened around 10:40 a.m., when an unidentified male pedestrian entered into the path of an approaching tractor-trailer and was struck. The man had reportedly previously been standing in the northbound shoulder before crossing and died at the scene. The truck driver was not injured and authorities say he did remain at the scene for questioning.
