What Happened

Colorado Highway Patrol officials are investigating a crash that killed a woman at Hwy 94 and New Log Rd in El Paso County, CO on August 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened when a Chevrolet Colorado headed eastbound on US 94 attempted to pass another vehicle. While doing so, the Chevy crossed into the westbound lanes and collided with a semi-truck. The impact left the woman, age 21 and unnamed, with fatal injuries.
